MDF stands for peace and justice. To show our support to the people of Myanmar especially for youths who are ready for the workforce, MDF brings out an opportunity to help youth who are ready for the workforce but require work experience. While the humanitarian crisis impacts all Myanmar across the country, we recognize the majority of them are still out of school over two years after the global pandemic in 2019 and due to the military coup in 2021 and young people have a great concern that they have difficulty in finding their jobs due to a lack of work experience and no employer would want to hire them without job experience. Knowledge without experience or practice in a real world setting becomes such a challenge for our young generation who are still at school and couldn’t complete their degree.
To address this concern while in essence mentoring a future nonprofit leader and providing work readiness skills for Youths in Myanmar, we like to provide an opportunity of internship to expose their working experience as volunteer Interns. This internship is aimed for those with particular interest in nonprofit administration and fundraising.
MDF will make sure to provide opportunities to work on the projects in these areas while cultivating the next generation of nonprofit leadership and encouraging our young generation to experience a career in the nonprofit sector for the long-term.
MDF is at present a completely remote workforce. We will work with interns to ensure that they have the necessary tools, and digital on-boarding to be successfully integrated into our remote work environment.
